Fire Safety News and Prosecutions Affecting Businesses

A recent survey conducted within the fire safety industry demonstrated that the average fine for prosecutions under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 is £1100 per offence.

With offenders being prosecuted for on average 5 offences, and with court costs included, the total financial penalty amounts to approximately £7000.
