The duties included the implementation of new legislation, Head of the Fire Investigation Team, Monitoring of the Divisional Fire Safety Offices and standards, Liaison Officer with the Local Authorities and the Home Office Forensic Department, overseeing the fire safety work for the Peterborough New Town Designation.
