Stuart Fensome

Stuart served with Northamptonshire, Dorset and Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Services culminating as the Deputy Senior Fire Safety Officer in the rank of Divisional Officer based at the Service Headquarters.

The duties included the implementation of new legislation, Head of the Fire Investigation Team, Monitoring of the Divisional Fire Safety Offices and standards, Liaison Officer with the Local Authorities and the Home Office Forensic Department. Overseeing the fire safety work for the Peterborough New Town Designation.

After completing over 26 years service, Alex retired from the Fire Service and has worked in the private sector for companies such as Anglia Regional Cooperative Society and Adkins Rail on the refurbishment of London underground stations before moving to the Fire Risk Assessment Group in late 2005.
